Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The Banner Saga 2. The Wolf Among Us. Lords of the Fallen. Gears of War 2. Ultra Edition Season One. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

You are hunting down a piece of Eden in this game. It used to belong to the Assassin's and a Master Templar had taken it.

You are to get it back. It's like Burnout but instead of traffic checking, you gain the ability to trigger world events that alter the track or screw over your opponents.

You CAN get caught in your own traps, so be careful. You can also dodge the enemy's traps or use them to your advantage. You can create or cutoff shortcuts, too.

It's pretty damned fun. Crazy Taxi - A game from back in the day of Arcades and the Dreamcast. In Crazy Taxi, you are a taxi driver.

You have a time limit. Pick up fares and get them to their location as fast as possible. Sounds dumb, actually pretty addicting.

Keep in mind, it's an old school arcade game. They left it open for a second one, but sadly, nothing. It's a fun game too.

Cheesy one liners, fun combat and the swordplay is solid too. I enjoyed it a lot when I went through it.

Still haven't tried the sequel. I mean, it's only 19 years old. I refer to it as old school due to it being an Arcade Cabinet game that was also released on the Dreamcast.

I also think there is a difference, usually, between how people use "old school" and "retro". The AC Chronicles are pretty enjoyable games.

I bought the 1st one on a sale and then wanted to get the other ones in a sale too, but the pack was buy 3 for 2 so didn't help me any and then China became free with GwG.

Glad I held off on buying it, but I'll definitely enjoy it as a game on the side. I really enjoyed the trilogy. They are short, good for playing a level at a time if you don't have a lot of time to game, and it gives some background lore during different time periods.

I recommend everyone give them a shot if you like platformers, Assassin's Creed games or stealth games. It reminded me quite a bit of Mark of the Ninja, although that game was much better.

Still enjoyable though, especially since it expands on Ezio's story with Shao Jun. I always wanted to play that but I ended up getting Blur instead when those two came out.

The remix album was spectacular for driving games. I was the same, I went with Blur. Loved that game so much, it's one of my favourite racing games ever!

Hardcore mode on multiplayer was intense as hell! Excited to finally try out Split Second. The Chronicles games are amazing. About time they get a larger audience.

They are all based on EU characters so you might be a bit lost at first. Arbaaz Mir is from the comics and the father of Henry Green from Syndicate.

Love Syndicate and it's cool knowing he's Henry's dad. Haven't played any of the Chronicles games because graphically they aren't as good as the regular AC games but if they're fun, that's great.

Graphics is only one thing to be concerned with. Trust me, just download this one. Don't look anything up it does some great things to wow you even if you're not into racing games.

I'm ecstatic that it's coming to BC. I was just hoping I could play it again last week, wow. I never actually owned it but it still holds a special place in my heart for being the first demo I downloaded and played repeatedly when I first got my xbox Now I can actually own it.

Also since it's GwG I won't have to dig out the disc to play anymore. Just because the studio shut down doesn't mean the rights to the game have evaporated.

All they needed was Disney's permission. Shadow Warrior - meh, but Assassins looks like an old school Prince of Persia which could be fun.

Speaking of which, I hope they make Blur backwards compatible one day. I really didn't think it'd ever come to backwards compatibility because the studio shuttered.

Download this game, especially if you're a Burnout fan. God, that game was fun as hell, and the soundtrack was lit as fuck. If Michael Bay designed a racing game, it would be this.

Crazy Taxi seems hardly worth it due to the music licensing nonsense. Never played Shadow Warrior, but I've heard good things.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles India seems.. The original shadow warrior had this somewhat funny but mostly corny rap song that would play if you put the CD into a CD player Crazy taxi is all I care about.

Split Second was amazing. I was waiting for it to become backwards compatible, but I think my disc is broken anyway, so this is fantastic.

I picked up Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China a while back when it was free on GwG. It was actually really enjoyable.

A nice change of pace for the series. I didn't even think of it necessarily as an Assassin's Creed game, just a really cool stealth game. Looking forward to playing India.

I don't own any of these, so it's a win in that regard. However I don't particularly care about any of them, so it's a loss. Either way not a terrible month.

Split Second was one of the best Xbox games. So pumped for this to be backwards compatible and free digitally. Shadow Warrior is the only one I don't really mind.

Now all I need is Pure and then my back compat wishlist is mostly complete. This game needs a modern sequel. Couldn't get until the last AC Chronicle given away for free do doubt I will this time either.

Shadow Warrior and Crazy Taxi? Not bad at all. Been wanting to try Shadow Warrior for a good while now. Hell Yeah, I remember my friends and I would always hop on the Split second demo and just play that for hours!

The full game looks even better! Crazy Taxi is fun but isn't this the version with the iconic soundtrack gutted. Never played or had any interest in Shadow Warrior but it never hurts to have more games in your back catalogue.

Not too shabby, but I already own all those. I will be giving it a go on BC when I get in from work. The views of the moderation team do not reflect the view of Microsoft or its subsidiaries.

Xbox - February Games with Gold youtube. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. BFG edition and Wolfenstein: I bought the version but I can't find it.

I miss Liberty City. I was so close to buying Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time. I'm going to try and get my wife to play it with me.

It is a fantastic local coop game on the level of Overcooked. Have poured hours into this game on steam with friends. This is why I never ever buy games ever for any reason no matter who I'm with or where I'm going or what I'm doing.

I was excited for Project Cars, and I bought it and played through a bit of it, but was really let down.

To me it felt like Forza Motorsport is better in every way. The controls don't feel as tight I do play with a controller not a wheel, so maybe that makes a difference?

Pcars is cheaper and has a solid fanbase thanks to prolonged but somewhat successful development and availabilty of full feature demo on pc pirated version.

It's definitely meant to be played with a wheel. I don't recommend people bother with it unless they have or can afford one.

Not the person you originally asked, but I bought it twice because of one aspect: I can start a Nurburgring race at night in the rain--Forza can't do this.

I prefer the handling model of Forza because I use a controller, but I can't replicate Leh Keen's rain dance in Forza.

A wheel makes a huge difference with this game. Some find it playable with a controller as did I , but it has been relatively rare to run into someone who really enjoys it that way.

Me too, bought the goty edition on the countdown sales, not mad though, still a good deal. I have been playing racing games for over 30 yrs on every platform.

I have over hrs playing Pcars. It's very difficult yet very pleasurable. People say it's bad on a pad, It's not. I would rate forza 6 slightly higher just for ease of access for MOST players.

But if you are a petrol head it will have MOST of the cars and tracks and conditions you could ever want. Avoid the go karts. I rented this and there was a campaign mode that the first race was a kart.

Perhaps I was just confused. Icouldnt figure out how to get to anything other than a kart and they were impossible on the controller.

Go karts just handle horrifically. If forza was too hard I wouldn't bother with the bandwidth. I personally think Forza 5 was hard on a different level.

Games like Forza 6 are way more pleasurable and handle differently. EA Access and GWG is what holds me through since for the money they offer the best bang for the buck.

Not a ONE title necessarily, but still a great title nonetheless. It's tough but very rewarding. The multiplayer is great because players take it seriously; they don't make a 90 degree turn on the green light and wreck you off the course.

I'm pretty excited about it, and very happy I didn't buy it a week ago when I was hovering over the "buy" button.

I've had my eye on the game since release, but never pulled the trigger. Not a huge fan of racing games but like to mess around with them every now an then.

Does the X1 version still have performance issues? I remember when it first came out people were saying the PS4 and PC versions were noticeably better.

That said, I'm not really into sim racers more of a Horizon guy but I hear Project Cars is a good one. They have made many improvements.

I was questioning my purchase at first, until they got the bugs ironed out. For realism, it is just unmatched on XB1. The game runs great.

But you MUST tinker with the steering controls for the game to be enjoyable. I can't remember the exact settings but you could probably google them.

It's something simple like changing stick handling to simulation etc. I'm just assuming they can be used on PC as well?

I'd like one, but I can't justify buying one just for Xbox. Check out the Fanatec clubsport v2 wheel. Feels amazing and has a quick release to swap out between multiple real size wheels.

Compatible with Xbox one and PC with the Xbox universal hub. I see you didn't say "WE won't tell your parents. I'm actually interested in playing it on Xbox.

I dunno, it was alright, but not really as exhilarating as I expected. I know they used a different physics engine and changed some things to make it work on the Wii though, so I'll definitely give it a playthrough now.

I used to have it on the Wii and loved it, so it's nice to know it's different when I go into it on Xbox.

I enjoyed the second one. Didn't care for the final battle but overall I liked the game. Makes you feel like a bad ass jedi IMO.

Kind of a continuation of The first force unleashed dlc where you turn Luke to the darkside, you go to Endor, essentially make Han kill Chewie, then kill Leia.

Going to see if older me can do the Star Destroyer boss faster this time.

You can aim to make your prison a pleasant place designed to rehabilitate the misguided criminals, or you can give slot machine black deluxe your darker urges and inspire things like arson, murder, and riots. It's full on race sim. Retrieved November 22, I wanted to play Shadow Warrior. A Tale of Two Sons. Metro and Toy Soldiers:

Excited for this to be added to the BC list Tryin to make a change: I played the demo way back when but it was at a time where I was still in high school and had no money so I never bought it, I kind of forgot about that game and now that I'm employed and can buy it I'm about to get it for free lol.

Did some work experience for the studio when they were working on the second one before Blackrock studios went byebye. I still have a few bits of merchandise stuck around my parents.

I don't know how far into production it went, but they were great guys and it's a shame Disney dissolved the studio.

I only played the PSP version, which is a bit different. So im psyched to get the console version. I actually almost bought split second like a month ago because I was reminded that it exists by a Funhaus video.

I'm so hyped that it's coming to gwg. I worked at a Gameworks so we had the cabinets the day the game was released. We got to check out the one in Seattle before it opened.

It was the first arcade like that I'd ever seen. A lot of cool physical things to stand or sit on, like snowboarding and motorcycle games.

I worked at the one in Texas for its first year. It was a rare gem, too beautiful and amazing to survive for long in its original state.

Within the year I worked there they shuttered half the food service, gutted the entry to put in retail space for GameStop, later gutted the GameStop to make room for a cafe, closed the cafe and made it empty storage for a retail store selling Gameworks merch before eventually stuffing it with classic arcade games until it closed.

And then there was or music subscription service. I plan on just muting the game and playing a crazy taxi playlist on Spotify. It'll be like nothing changed!

Sorry for my ignorance, but does the Spotify Xbox One app work while playing a back-compat Xbox game?

I've never tried it, and currently not home to test. Why'd they change it? That's like swapping out the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack.

I would have assumed that if they allow it in the game, they're allowing it in all subsequent versions of the game, but I guess that's not the case.

So I can see how it got okayed for iPhone and Android but not Xbox. Oh dam they changed it? Ive been playing it im the past waiting for the offspring to kick in.

I guess this explains it. What others were removed? I had the dreamcast version as well. I mean, I was wondering how the game was going to feel without the big, springy triggers that the DC controllers had, but now I hear there's no Offspring?

It's pretty unbelievable no one has made a competent online version on xbox. Blur, hydro thunder and burnout are some of the funnest games i've ever played with friends.

Also a great splitscreen game, which always left us screaming. Also while i'm on it how has no one emulated mario party yet for the xbox other than fusion frenzy which was a long time ago?

I've asked this question myself. There'd be no real competition, and surely if it was any good it would be bought by the truckload.

This platform really needs some sort of fun racing-combat game. Everyone here has fond memories of childhoods with Mario Kart, Burnout, and Blur.

God, those were the days I definitely won't feel bad for looking up a map if it's just an action game and not really about exploration.

Yeah, I'm so busy with so many games that if I get stuck for too long I don't mind looking something up, otherwise I'll just stop playing it and never go back to it.

Haha my problem exactly, if I'm not that interested in a game to begin with my BS tolerance is really low. The maps are fairly linear and small enough that a map isn't an issue.

As long as you know which way you came from you'll be fine. I'm actually playing through it right now.

It's a really fun game. Not as rude and crude as the 90s version of the game, but still pretty fun. The weapons and skill progression is great for a shooter.

The story is really good too. No objective markers is fine, it's a very linear game, it doesn't need to hold your hand, but the doors and objectives are usually flashing yellow when you do find them.

Havent touched it since, but definitely wanna get back into it. One my favorite underrated gems from last gen, I had so much fun playing this game not only online but with family as well.

Shadow Warrior - A reboot of an old DoS game that was fantastic. Think of a slightly lower quality objectively, of course DOOM set in modern-day China while making fun of itself.

Also, instead of a space marine, you're a modern-day ninja warrior. If you need more info, the original game was made by the same guys that made Duke Nukem 3D.

India - Part of the Chronicles trilogy of Assassin's Creed games with 2. Each game is stylized to correlate to it's location, which it pretty cool.

Going to see if older me can do the Star Destroyer boss faster this time. Goddamn that was throw the controller into the wall fun. Definitely stoked to see that.

Also looking forward to giving Project Cars a try. I vaguely remember playing this game at my local Best Buy on one of the displays.

Had fun with it. It's hard for an indie dev to develop net-code for their games. Especially ones that rely so heavily on co-op like Lovers does.

It is an amazing couch co-op experience. Well the problem is most developers seem to go with one or the other these days, on pc local co-op is essentially non-existent, And on console if it has it it's usually only 2 players, or it's an fps game 4 player local co-op racing games for example are not a thing anymore unless you play Mario kart.

I never said they did, it just sucks that I can't play online with friends of mine that don't live near me. Is it weird that that's the one I'm most excited for?

The Monkey Island series was the best when I was a kid. I'm so happy it is with GwG, I really enjoyed the first when it was made GwG and I know this one will be just as good.

Could be best racing game of this gen. Forza games are good but I would call them more of trackday or driving games with worst online community I have ever seen people think you're meant to crash into everything.

Forza as a single player experience is bliss. Multiplayer is one of the worst experiences I've had. All Turn 10 needs to do is implement a ghosting system; you start ramming, go off the track or drive in reverse?

Your car is now a ghost. But you can set the entire race to ghost, right? Boggles my mind why this isn't the preferred way to race online.

I have a feeling the online community for Project Cars is going to be a lot worse come February. A game purchased only by dedicated sim racing guys vs.

What could go wrong? You could always get an xbox lol you don't have to pledge allegiance to one or the other. A One S when bundled and on sale is really cheap.

I remember when I bought my PS4, one of the main justifications I had to buy it was that psnow would let me play all the PS3 games I never tried because I never owned the console.

First game I tried was Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It was such a poor gaming experience on my relatively fast network connection 70 down 40 up that I didn't even bother finishing out the rental.

Controls were like moving through molasses and the price for renting was insulting. I have no idea, I would love for it to be gone for good and for backwards compatibility to be added but that's asking too much.

Not if you don't live in the US. I don't like Bing, but you can bet your ass I'd be all over that, but us Canucks get no love. Kinda defeats the point of free crap though and wont help with the phne verification, maybe Google voice?

Im sure youve looked into it more than I have, but I want to beleive there is a way for you! To be honest, I haven't tried a proxy or VPN.

I should give it a try. I can spin up an SSH proxy to my web server in California Hitman Absolution was one of the first free ones they got I believe way back when it was still kinda new.

Everyone's all hyped on project cars, but Monkey Island 2 is literally the best game of these 4. I almost bought Project Cars the other day, but I went with Forza 6.

How do they compare to each other? Forza holds your hand, project cars slaps you in the face then spits on you. It's a full blown simulation.

Had Project Cars at launch and just to warn those expecting a Forza like experience, it is much more of a pure simulation. The career mode is better I think, as it's much more realistic - seeing you progress through the ranks in different racing series karting is great fun.

The issue for me was that I had to change settings for each and every different car, as the majority just were not responsive at all I use a wheel for what it's worth.

Looking forward to trying Force Unleashed again. Who am I kidding, it'll sit in my backlog untouched for years!

Tried playing one of the Force Unleashed games on the Wii years ago, and it was god-awful. I'm looking forward to giving this a try on a real console this time.

Pumped to play some Force unleashed since I missed the chance back on Project Cars looks pretty interesting, looking forward to checking it out!

Monkey Island 2, probably the highlight. Can not see myself getting into another racing game with motorsport and horizon on the go. The amount of racing games we get is amazing.

I have project cars on my PC and absolutely love it. I was looking at expanding my local co-op library and I had been contemplating picking up Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time.

Project Cars looks like a great simulation racing game. Not really my genre but nice to have it in my library. The Force Unleashed I've heard good things about so looking forward to playing it.

Monkey Island 2 is highly regarded, but I'm not really into this genre either. Still nice to have it as an option if I want to try and get into point and click adventure games.

I was on the checkout screen on project cars download a few days ago. Decided to wait until pay day. I've deliberated Monkey Island 2 Remastered for years now and now I no longer have to.

Oh and the other games are great choices too! Bought Force Unleashed at launch and was thoroughly impressed by it, truly one of the best Star Wars games.

Glad it's going on GwG too so I can have a digital copy. As for the other 3, I don't have them and can't wait to play them!

Also I Love how they give us Monkey Island 2 right after the first one! Been looking for good couch co-op games for a while now and everyone's list has had Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.

I've came close a couple of times Almost bought the rebooted Tomb Raider, but held off and it paid off. I like Driveclub and the Forza Horizon series, how close is it to them?

No even close at all. It's full on race sim. Forza 6 is an arcade game compared to project cars. These games were a staple of my childhood Sure they haven't held up well, but I still like'm.

They are both quite fun. PCars is great - but I am a wheel set up owner. Not sure how accessible it will be to most people seeing as it leans towards the 'sim' side of the market.
